How to Become a Member of Our Family!
You may become a member by many different methods. You can be a part of a growing family right now! If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, we are already family. To make it formal, we can present you before our church family and welcome you in with open arms a few different ways. If you have a church letter with another church of like faith, we will petition that church for your letter of membership. If you have never accepted Christ and been baptized, you can become a member through your own personal testimony this way. If you testify that you are a believer and that you have been baptized, we can welcome you in as well. We need members to get involved in spreading the renown of our glorious Savior! We will excitedly welcome you into the family! We expect our members to join in the work already going on, and make FBC Alma an even better family.

Consider what the Bible teaches:
God loves you. John 3:16, John 10:10
You are a sinner in need of forgiveness. The Holy Spirit makes you aware of your sin. Romans 3:23, 6:23, 1 Peter 3:18
You must turn away from your sins. Luke 13:5, Ephesians 2: 8-9
You must place your faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21, John 14:6
You can receive Christ through prayer. Revelation 3:20
Admit to God that you are a sinner and that you are turning away from your sins.
Believe in Jesus by thanking Him for dying on the cross and rising from the dead for your sins.
Commit your life to Jesus by asking Him to come into your heart as your Savior and Lord.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways. I believe You died for my sins and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be forgiven. I want to turn from my sins and ask You to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. From this day on, I will follow You by living a life that pleases You. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.
